Election in Tamil Nadu

Power and money determines the election state in Tamil nadu, India.  Three states in India who win their votes through money are andra Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamil nadu. It's not only in these states but also happening around India. It’s strongly believed that promises cannot be broken or overruled. Using this sentimental concept they win their votes through carrying idols across the streets and getting confirmed for their votes through promises. There is another way of winning votes by distributing many freebies to the people. This is the custom happening now in Tamil nadu. Some parties even pay money to the people to cast their vote in favor of them. They reach each and every individuals house and offer a sum amount of 500 - 5000 INR depending upon the politicians how much he can afford. So it has become a situation only with the help of money any MP or MLA can enter into parliament. Distributing the money is a big crime according to the law, both the person has to be punished for bribing and receiving the money, but this action cannot be taken unless one complains on the other. The party worker s may not distribute the money but the coworkers who do the job for them. Earlier there was a problem like capturing the election booth and altering the votes around, but it has been made under control by providing proper security personal to every booth. It was muscle power in the beginning, but now its money power. Election commission in India is the best system found anywhere around the world, but the question is not having such good questions, instead it has to be followed or implemented. In earlier stages there were big banners and cut outs where installed around the state symbolically showing their votes in that particular region, but the election commission came up with a new rule of not having and banners, or posters around the state. Election system in India is same as the British system, not like other European countries. They obtain their seats through votes registered in the particular region. Media also plays a big role in getting the people's mind diverted. The news channels delivering their news which has a high impact on people, they expose the wrong doings like exposing the free bees. They advertise in a way that indirectly helps the parties by displaying something which seeks to highlight the material. Judiciary cannot help this situation; the case will be heard after a long time from the date which has been complained. The part followers should work for is party without considering his self-concise, but they ought to work for the party. Some people work for the labor and some have the notion that he can be our leader, since he is organizing things. Now this trend has been changed by doing the favorable things for the leader, which he needs. The parties are getting money through many corporate leaders; they distribute the money to all parties depending upon their capacity in winning votes in the places which they stand. This system also determines the industrial movement in one country. Their motto is published through magazine, and other journals. The money spend by the party should have a proper audit and it has to made publically, so the people are aware of things happening around their state. There should be transparency in the system. Each politician back ground should be checked before they enter parliament. They should not hold any criminal cases against them throughout the history. The young generations who are trying to enter politics should enter from the base level or grass roots; they can’t simply stand for the MLA place without knowing the loopholes in the basement level. The midterm election procedure should be changed, there should not be an election in the place where the leader is dead or changing his party, instead the candidate should be selected based upon the votes registered for the party initially for that particular place. The people's mentality should be changed in selecting their candidates who rule them for next five years. They have to consider the leaders who cares about them, their society etc. In some countries the voting is compulsory, but the democratic countries like India, it’s made optional. They can also show their interest by voting no candidate opinion. Gandhi’s goal about society, I want a society that will wipe every tear from every eye. He too believed that powers should be made de centralized, they should be not centered in one place. Each city or town should have their independent government.

Farmer’s opinion on election point of view, when asked since we didn’t receive enough rainfall, they don’t have sufficient resources to grow their crops, so they use this as an opportunity to get money from the politicians before elections.   This is the only and easiest way to obtain money. When asked do the farmer, he said” The fashion of giving money to candidates has been developed very recently, but previously they have voted for their favorite candidate. They do believe if someone is giving money, they don’t want to reject it. They also knew parties which are dominated are trying to buy their vote through money and the parties which are trying to make good for the people, don’t have sufficient money to provide them. Farmers believe the money which they are getting from the politicians is the tax money which they pay to the government. They do believe it’s their own money obtained through hard labor. They do knew that the politicians show their appearance only during the time of elections but not later after that’s farmer’s believe that mostly vote will be casted to the people who bribes money to them.
