Mesothelioma


Mesothelioma is basically a malignant tumor of mesothelial tissue which causes cancer in the protective lining of body's internal organs.  It occurs mainly at pleura and develops a mesothelioma and has been exposed to asbestos. Asbestos cancer includes its exposure and other malignant mesothelioma such as peritoneal mesothelioma and pleural mesothelioma. The prognosis includes several stages like treatments, cure, life expectancy, survival rate. Mesothelioma symptoms include shortness of breath, cough, and pain in the chest. Other symptoms include bowel obstruction, anemia and fever. Mesothelioma diagnosis is confirmed with biopsy and it may be suspected with chest x-ray and CT scan. Mesothelioma affects the pleura and cause fatigue less further leading to shortness of breath. Some of the symptoms which include these things are abdominal pain, a mass in the abdomen, weight loss and problems with bowel function. Several cases of the disease leads to following signs and symptoms like low blood sugar level, severe ascites etc. There are many notable cases in the society and culture. The standard approaches of treating solid tumorsis by radiation, chemotherapy and surgery also been investigated in patients with favourable factors. The incident rates vary from each country to other. There are some people who have lived for some time with mesothelioma.
