Dhoni and his Success

It's been a success for Indian cricket team Right from Border-Gavaskar Trophy. India has managed to win ICC Champions Trophy, West Indies Tri-Nation Series and India in Zimbabwe ODI Series on a stretch. India has managed to win 19 matches out of 21 recent matches. This show the great improvement with the bunch of many individuals who perform in the team. Above all one man steal the lime light as usual. Yes! It's MSD. One and only Captain of World No. 1 ODI Team.

Under his captaincy he has won ICC World cup Twenty20 in2007, ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 and recently ICC Champions Trophy 2013. This shows his immense passion and hard work towards cricket. His cool shoulders had managed to win all the possible titles, which none of the captains have done in their cricket history. Dhoni's match finishing ability from the beginning to until the recent match against Sri Lanka, he has earned a name for him as "the best finisher". He handles the pressure so easily at the dead over's and gets success to the team and nation.

 

 

 

His victory doesn't get stopped here. He has also done his best captaincy in winning Champions League Twenty20 for his franchise Chennai Super Kings in 2010. The limited version of the sport is conducted as Indian Premier League and dhoni has pitching the records by winning the title for 2010 and 2011. Of the all seasons in IPL Chennai Super Kings have won twice and appeared in final for 5 times. It’s a saying in “Chennai “as 8 teams fight each other to meet Chennai Super Kings in the finals”.

 

 

Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been called as captain cool, bike lover, best captain, and best wicket keeper by his fans. He has many titles like ICC One-Day Player of the Year 2008, ICC One-Day Player of the Year 2009, and ICC Spirit of Cricket Award 2011, but whatever the achievements he gain, he never get it onto his head, thus serving education to many managerial CEO'S. The cool character and strong attitude has been a boon to the Indian Cricket team and to the Nation.

It's again a spring season with IPL season is on and all the teams have almost completed the half of their elimination stage matches. RCB stands first on the table with 6 won of 8 matches, with Chris Gayle’s sudden sprout run rate to his team.  Chennai super kings also placed second on the table, despite of some nail biting finishes.

 
 

One should be confused by looking at the strategies of CSK, In every match they chase, they would give the confidence level to the opposite team during 16-18 over’s. Suddenly there is some miracle happening and the csk sees none but the victory. It's again a nail biting match finish from CSK captain yesterday. 67 runs from 37 deliveries, includes 7 fours and 4 sixes. Initially the team a good start with a decent partnership between M.Hussey and M.Vijay, later as the game proceeded wickets started fumble at regular intervals and the key batsman couldn't cope with the target. But there was a little hope to the home team, as the captain cool still stayed at the grease.

 

There was a stage where they needed run rate of 16 and the most hoped batman wicket went down as he tried for some big shots. Dhoni at the other end tries to capitalize the score by playing a brilliant innings.  The captain being a best finisher in the all formats of the game, once again ended the match in style. Undoing umpire’s decision in the last over for signaling the wide ball has proven his sportsmanship and the way he handled the situation at the end, without any pressures and excitement at the end, shows his leadership. This youth generation should learn certain qualities from such a class player.

IPL started with success of CSK

It was Ipl season 4 where Chennai kings roared again. The match kicked after a great inauguration in the Chennai home ground at MA Chidambaram Stadium, fitted with thousands of crowds all the famous stars showing their struts off. Bollywood actor sharukh khan was dancing for the locals and cherishing the crowd with some other south Indian beat. The game started with dhoni winning the toss for CSK and batted first, they set a target of 153 for 4 wickets down. Anirudh srikanth made half century with this stretched partnership and with bit luck. The New Zealander southee had a nerve biting over in the end of the innings which paved way for the super king’s success. The batting orders for KKR slipped off quickly than expected. Anyways, this season started with a style and continuing success of MSD.
